After the success of January and February’s video calls, we will be continuing with our monthly video calls through a new monthly membership group. They will normally take place on the Second Wednesday of each month.
They are open to anybody to join, who has an interest in Encaustic Wax. They relate to all forms of encaustic wax, from using the iron, stylus, through to dammar based encaustics.
Beginners and experienced artists.
I believe we all have something to learn from each other, and the sharing of ideas, and inspiration helps and encourages us all.
Our next call is on Wednesday 11th March, 6pm GMT, (and I am very excited to say that my first interview will be with Patricia Baldwin Seggebruch!)
This is your opportunity to speak to other encaustic artists, people who ‘get’ what it’s all about!
Share ideas, inspiration, excitement about this unique medium.
It can also be a lonely old time in the studio, and the mind monkeys can easily take a hold, so this group is here to encourage each other, inspire each other, and translate that enthusiasm and passion into our work.
I don’t claim to know everything about encaustic, I don’t think anybody does! But I can usually point you in a right direction, locate information amongst my encaustic network, or share additional information after the call.
