Always use natural haired brushes with encaustic wax painting.
Hake hair brushes are my favourite, but I have other much loved brushes including hog hair, natural bristle, and some 30 year old squirrel brushes (I think!), that have just gone on forever!!
The golden rule is, never use synthetic brushes… they will turn up their toes and frizzle when exposed to the heat!
