I loved creating this painting, it is created by applying melted wax to the encaustic paper with a heated craft iron, the wax is then manipulated into this shape, using the edge of the iron, and turning the paper 360 degrees, to create this eye-catching centrepiece. Original and unique.
Purple combines the calm stability of blue and the fierce energy of red. The colour purple is often associated with spirituality, royalty, nobility, luxury, power, and ambition. Purple also represents meanings of wealth, extravagance, creativity, wisdom, peace, pride, mystery, and magic. (You can read more about colour meanings here.)
This picture is 39cm x 49cm, painted on encaustic paper and sealed with a specialist encaustic sealer.
The picture is signed and dated on the back of the image, and on the back of the frame.
Framed in a wide black frame, with a slightly off white mount using acid free tape, strung and ready to hang. Frame measurements are 59 x 79cm.
