I am always inspired by the local countryside views, which come across in my work. The lights created with encaustic, are a perfect match for the English countryside… this one reminds me of sweet peas on a summers day.
Little faces often appear in my work, quite unexpectedly, and once you see them, you can’t un-see them….! Can you spot the face in the top left, keeping a calming eye over things?!
A1 in size, 84 x 59cm, and painted on encaustic paper. This piece is unframed.
