There are two types of encaustic wax painting, one uses a higher heat, and the other a lower heat. I use both.
This page is specific to lower heat encaustic painting… sometimes referred to as Arts Encaustic.
I recommend the Arts Encaustic range of waxes, especially if you think you can’t paint… or, you’re looking for an exciting, alternative art medium to try…
It’s also great for people just starting out on their creative journey…
It’s inexpensive and easy to start, with no big health and safety considerations.
