Cornwall Open Studios 2026
I’m delighted to be participating in Cornwall Open Studios again, it was such a great event last year…!
Artists across Cornwall are throwing open their doors and welcoming you in from 23–31 May… I can’t wait to see what this year brings. 🎨🐝✨💕

You can view my full entry details with example artworks here.
That said, here are the quick essential details you need to know. 👇

A little mystery tour awaits…! Look out for my ‘Open’ sign from the roadside, and follow the orange COS posters to the studio once you’re parked up on the drive…

You will find paintings, photography, cards, encaustic wax paintings, and a few Arts Encaustic and R&F supplies… I’ll also be doing free wax demos, and available to talk about Smartphone Photography… there’s a lot of creativity packed in this little studio, I can’t wait to share it with you…!
Why not make a day of it… check out the other participating artists nearby and across Cornwall here.

Here are a few additional tips from the COS crew:
- Double-check opening days and times on artist profiles before travelling. Those who are open for the whole nine days are marked with a 9 in the visitors guide and on our website.. and those doing the two long weekends are marked with a 6.
- Some studios are rural, so allow extra journey time.
- Mobile signal can vary in parts of Cornwall.
- Comfortable shoes are always a good idea!
- Many artists will have original work, prints, cards, demonstrations, and workshops available during the event.
- To find out which artists/makers are doing free demos during the event click on the Search Artist tab on our website and then select Free Demos from the dropdown menu. (I will be doing free wax demos!)
Cornwall Open Studios has always been about connecting visitors directly with artists and makers in the places where creativity happens.
Look Out for the Cornwall Open Studio Roadside Signs
Many of our participating artists and makers will soon be displaying Cornwall Open Studios roadside posters and directional signage throughout Cornwall.
Keep an eye out for the bright signs as you travel — they’ll help guide you to studios tucked away in villages, coastal locations, countryside settings, and hidden creative spaces off the beaten track.

I really hope to welcome you into my studio this May… If you can’t make it during the official opening hours, drop me an e-mail to arrange a VIP visit: julie@artyheaven.com
